This drill will be downward tracking motion and controlling our rebounds. We will also add some lateral movement into it all right.
First start on our post, then do a shoulder check. After the shoulder check, push out to the top of the crease. The shot will be low and towards the back post.
What we’re going to do is downward track and use that stick so our eyes are on top of that puck. And then we’re going to lift our chin up and rotate and recover to the back post.
Second part of this is I’m gonna pucks over here on the other side. The goalie is going to shoulder check again, push out to the top of the crease, then the player is going to make it pass over to the original shooter. We’re going to rotate and T push across. Then the second shot can be high. We’re going to downward-track that puck, make a high Glove or blocker save.
